Welcome to my teeny tiny space in the web where I ramble about some of the random things that come with my not so random life as a Mom, a Wife, and a work-at-home Ninja. PS : This blog may not be so random after all because I love skincare & makeup. .and I love talking and writing about them. But hey, who knows what may pop up!

My Revamped Shower Routine | Nivea In-Shower Skin Conditioner Review
Can anyone relate to that after shower & exfoliating feeling that leaves your skin so dry you feel as if it's shrinking & would crumble into pieces, and then that urge to moisturize so you rush to slap on your usual body lotion and then feeling like a grease ball afterwards? Yes? No? Just me? Anyways, I hated that feeling. Which one? Well, both. I long for that somewhere in the middle relief where I feel my skin is moisturized without that sticky icky feel.
And, lo and behold, an in-shower moisturizer was born!
Now my shower routine is forever changed.
You see, this product is completely revolutionary (if I will say so myself). It's the first rinse-off body lotion / moisturizer and it's the most affordable I know. You can easily find them in your local drugstore or supermarket as well.
Think of it like a hair conditioner. First you wash your body using your desired soap or body wash and then apply this on damp skin like your would a normal lotion and rinse it off! Your skin will feel soft and smooth, there's no need to grab that sticky body lotion. It is activated by water that is immediately absorbed into the skin leaving it supple & hydrated.
I love the ease of use, the sweet smelling scent, how it makes my skin feel and how fast it just glides on and is absorbed in the skin. To top it all off, it has whitening benefits for it has 50x more Vitamin C than other brands.
If you're not into whitening, you can also try the two other variants which is the intense hydration for dry skin and the original formula for normal type skin. Each tackles different need but all the while gives the same satisfaction.
I'm not turning back. Nivea In-Shower Skin Conditioner just does the job for me and so much more. I recommend it to everyone. This is definitely a must try and a must have unique product to add to your shower regimen.
You can take my word for it, it's really a game changer.
Or if you're still hesitant, you can go over to SampleRoom and try this product for free! Always is a good thing to try before you buy, right?
'til my next ramble,
September 2016 BDJ Box Elite Unboxing & First Impressions
Ah, and what do you know, another subscription box unboxing ^__^
I'm obsessing over them though and I cannot help myself. So here we are, on to the next.
Here are the contents of the BDJ Box Elite September 2016. . .This month's theme was "Bare to Beautiful" in which the idea of it is bringing us back to basics with products curated to smoothly transition your bare face to a beautiful work of art.
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths
retails for 225.00 pesos
This always comes in handy, cleans thoroughly but stays gentle on the skin. Definitely not to replace your makeup remover though because it cannot take off waterproof mascara.
TheFaceShop CC Ultra Moist Cushion
retails for 895.00 pesos
I've been wanting to try this and luckily I haven't bought it yet. A bit lighter than my skin tone but I love that it has SPF. It has medium coverage and definitely is "ultra moist" as it says, so if you're oily like myself, a powder to set is the best way to use this cushion.
Pink Sugar Honey I'm Good Brow Gel
retails for 349.00 pesos
The blonde shade would not work for me since I have dark colored hair and I noticed it looks shiny on the brows. I would not rely on that impression though because I'm a newbie on brows. I saw great reviews of this brow gel in Youtube so it must be good and worth trying.
Bioderma Hydrabio Serum
retails for 808.00 pesos in full size
This came in a sample size and I really like this. Been using it ever since I got it. It's moisturizing without it feeling sticky on the face. The scent is so subtle and is easily absorbed on the skin.
Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadow
retails for 425.00 pesos
I got the shade 441 which is an opulent purple eye shadow. I think it's a great pop of color to add to my neutrals.
FS Features & Shades Mascarade Mascara
retails for 500.00 pesos
I have doubts if I like this mascara to be honest. It smudges easily and does not really offer volume. The wand is nice and big but I don't see myself grabbing this after using it one time.
L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Magic Blur Cream
retails for 899.00 pesos
One of my fave things to get from subscription boxes are skincare products. I will definitely get a use of this. It'll be perfect for these little laugh lines that are peeking through ^__^
This box costed me 1480 pesos and the shipping was free. Yet, the overall value of all products is around 3700 pesos. All except the Bioderma serum are in full sizes.
I got 3x more products than the amount I paid for. If that is not enough reason to love subscription boxes, I dunno what is.
i'll stop rambling now,
until then,
